MassMEP Announces New Manufacturing Project Managers

April 21, 2020 – Auburn, MA – MassMEP – Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership – a leading resource for manufacturing companies in Massachusetts, has announced the appointment of three new project managers: Kathee Strozyk, Project Manager in the Southeast, John Griglun, Project Manager in the Western Region, and Henry Hall, Project Manager in the Southeast. MassMEP project managers work with manufacturing companies in their region to provide training, leadership, and support in the areas of Continuous Improvement, Workforce Development, and Growth and Innovation.

The new Project Managers will deliver a “hands-on” systems approach to problem solving and will work with manufacturing companies to create a culture of accountability, communication, problem-solving, and cost effective decision making. “MassMEP is excited to have these new employees join our team,” said John Killam, President of MassMEP. “All three project managers bring a wealth of experience to their new roles. Manufacturing in Massachusetts is primed for growth opportunities and their expertise will provide tremendous value to their clients.”

Kathee Strozyk, Project Manger in the Southeast, holds a BA in Mathematics and BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. She has a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt II Certification and an L3 ABS Certification (Lean Master). In addition, she has strong skills in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and Business Improvement. According to Ms Strozyk, “I’m excited for the opportunity to be a member of the MassMEP team. I love being part of an organization that collaborates with businesses to achieve profitable growth. Helping manufacturing companies be sustainable during rapid technological innovation and increased competition is extremely rewarding.”

 

John Griglun, Project Manger in the Western Region, has over a decade of experience in Continuous Improvement, Strategic Deployment, and Leadership. He holds a BA in Political Science and brings to MassMEP his immense knowledge in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvement, Leadership, and Problem Solving. According to Mr. Griglun, “It was readily apparent to me when I joined MassMEP that I had joined a truly collaborative team with a vast assortment of unique manufacturing skills. MassMEP’s commitment to supporting the Commonwealths manufacturing community shines through in all our engagements and allows us to truly help manufacturing in the state get better every day. It’s exciting to be part of an organization that provides value to the community every day.”

 

 

Henry Hall, Project Manager in the Southeast, holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He also has a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. Previously, he was a Quality Manager at both LEDVANCE and HTP Comfort Solutions. Mr. Hall brings to MassMEP his extensive knowledge in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Strategic Planning, and Process Improvement. According to Mr. Hall, “Manufacturing is my passion. For over 30 years, I have been dedicated to increasing efficiencies, throughput, and quality for companies big and small in just about every type of manufacturing – multiple discrete machines, large chemical processes, hand assembly, automated assembly, and more.  Each has its own special challenges, but none are insurmountable. By joining MassMEP, with the target area of Cape Cod and the South Shore, I welcome the opportunity to leverage my vast Lean/Six-Sigma experience to successfully assist multiple manufacturers in their quest for manufacturing excellence.”
