MassMEP Announces New Project Manager for Southeast Region of Massachusetts

February 4, 2019 – Worcester, MA – MassMEP, the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership, has announced that Manny Jerome has joined the organization as Project Manager for Client Development for the Southeast Region of Massachusetts, which includes Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, Barnstable, Plymouth, and parts of Norfolk County. He will be responsible for providing training and leadership on subject matter pertaining to Continuous Improvement, Workforce Development, and Growth and Innovation. Mr. Jerome will provide a hands-on systems approach to problem solving and will work with manufacturing companies to create a culture of accountability, communication, problem-solving, and cost effective decision making.

Previously, Mr. Jerome was New Business Director at Coats Performance Materials (Uxbridge, MA). As the company’s extrusion expert, he developed, directed, and designed a state-of-the-art extrusion coated yarn manufacturing process used in wire harness protection by heavy duty construction, mining, agriculture, and specialty markets. Mr. Jerome has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a certification in Design of Experimentation and Total Quality Management. His skills include identifying global markets, developing and executing global sales strategies, implementing lean manufacturing practices, and maintaining quality systems.
